The Belleek Pottery works was founded in 1884 in County Fermanagh in the area now known as Northern Ireland. The Irish potato famine county hit northern Ireland very hard.  The pottery industry provided much needed income and salvation to the suffering people of the area.

Belleek porcelain is collected worldwide and is renown for it’s thinness and iridescent surface. Its beautiful surface with the subtle basket weave pattern is very evident on this unique necklace.
